Efpraxia Tsapaki

She holds a BA from the Faculty of English Studies of the University of Athens (2010) and an MA in Applied Linguistics (2013) from the same university. In her dissertation, “Investigating Difficult Reading Comprehension Test items: the case of KPG exams”, she studied the cognitive variables affecting the difficulty of reading comprehension test items across levels. During both her undergraduate and post-graduate studies, she has been awarded scholarships by the State Foundation of Scholarships (ΙΚΥ). Besides English, she is also an independent user of French. In addition, she has been certified in Special Education by the Faculty of Primary Education, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2013). Since 2007 she has been working as an EFL instructor in the private sector teaching a wide range of students, both adult and young learners of all levels. Currently, she is working as a research assistant for the Research Centre for English Language Teaching, Testing and Assessment (RCeL). She is a member of the test development team for the computer-based KPG exams and has also worked on linking the KPG exams to the public education system in the framework of National Curriculum for Foreign Languages.
