Leonti Margarita

Margarita Leonti is a PhD candidate of the Department of Literature and Culture at the Faculty of English Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds an M.A. in Literature, Culture, and Ideology, and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from the same Faculty, while her research interests involve gender manifestations in Renaissance martyrology texts. Margarita has been working as an EFL instructor since 1996 and is currently a research assistant at the Research Centre for Language Teaching, Testing, and Assessment (RCeL) of the University of Athens. Since the winter term of 2008, she has been offering workshops relevant to the incorporation of literary genres in TEFL, within the framework of the TEFL Practicum course, organized for senior students doing their initial teacher training at the Faculty of English Studies of the University of Athens. Finally, Margarita is a KPG oral examiner and script rater and is also an independent user of Spanish.
