SURVEYLANG

SURVEYLANG is going to present its research findings about the level of foreign language competence of school students of the EU member states. The Greek contribution to the survey included a sample of 3200 3rd grade junior high school students, from 113 Greek schools, who were assessed in both English and French. During the final stage of the survey, currently underway, the experts of the RCeL centre are responsible for analysing the results of the tests and the questionnaire data.  They are also responsible for compiling the National Report which will contribute to the SurveyLang report, addressed to the European Union, with details about the research. Greece will also benefit from this report as it will provide valid and reliable data for the current situation in Greece with regard to foreign language learning in public education.
