The network LANGUAGE RICH EUROPE (LRE)

The network LANGUAGE RICH EUROPE(LRE) aims at developing an informed dialogue amongst governments, educational institutions, public services, businesses and mass media across Europe in order to promote multilingualism. The RCeL, as an official partner of the LRE network, co-organises a large event in both Athens and Thessaloniki, with the aim to promote the projects undertaken by LRE and to disseminate the findings of the research that has been conducted in Greece.

Four workshops, will follow and will take place successively from June to December 2013. The workshops, carried out by invited experts in the field, will focus on the following topics:

• Multilingualism and language policy
• Multilingualism and mass media
• Multilingualism in public spaces
• Multilingualism and Entrepreneurship
