Language Education research

Two related projects have been initiated and are carried out at the RCeL, aiming at the development of precise, explicit, transparent descriptors of language competences, adding specificity to the CEFR levels of language proficiency. These projects will eventually yield detailed linguistic descriptions of the CEFR levels across languages, drawing on information from various sources, including language-specific teaching/learning specifications, teaching/testing/assessment materials and language use data produced by Greek learners of foreign languages taking the KPG exams.
